My client has an old application server that the application is deployed on they are using weblogic 8.1 which is really old now I tried to look for it on oracle but I do not find it when I search it says that it is a dead product and they removed it so that no one new can use it the application is working well but the most annoying part of weblogic 8.1 is the workshop it is really really dumb I spent a complete day trying to create an smile application with a servlet that does not make an error on deployment
HUUUUUUUMMMMMM it looks I'll be suffering with it for few weeks to come

I havent been working with 8.1 before but I have been working with version 10.3 which supports Java 6 and I can tell you it was great very easy eclipse based IDE and a user friendly administration console and the server itself is very fast and the deployment of application is easy with the support of developer mode and auto deploy
