String Tokenizer

For those who does not have knowledge about the technology especially computer engineering or computer science, you should be confused on what is string tokenizer or other industry related name for it. If you need any technical support for the computer or software related matters, what should you do? The most important is nowadays technology is becoming part of our life and living, we need to use it different ways. For example, the supermarket is using the scanning machine to scan the merchandises into computer system instead of keying the serial number into the system. it saves time and become efficient.

What is string tokenizer? Do you know about it? I also don't know what is it and i think those who have study or specialists in this area only know about it. Let me briefly explain about the string tokenizer first. What is token? What is string? String is the array of characters which input values at a time following by each value. When we isolate the different word within string, in order to analyze the character by character in the string and to delimiter each word; and those words are called as token.

Token is using for breaking the application into tokens. For the string, we break it into tokens in order to know how many tokens have been generated. String Tokenizer is a class in Java package, which is used to generate the tokens. There two methods provided by the String Tokenizer to process the strings which include the countTokens and nextToken. CountToken is returning the number of tokens which has been delimited by white space, hence; use the number as loop parameter to process the string. Secondly, nextToken returns the next token to form current token. In word, the next token will be the first in string.
